Az EHF bécsi központjában kisorsolták az Európa Liga 3. fordulójának párosításait, ahol a Praktiker-Vác csapata a svájci LC Brühl Handball együttesét kapta ellenfélnek.
Az LC Brühl Handball az előző szezonban a svájci bajnokság 3. helyén végzett, a keretéből 4 játékos található meg az Európa-bajnokságon szereplő svájci válogatottban.
A sorsolás óta eltelt napokban több egyeztetés is zajlott a mérkőzések időpontjával és helyszínével kapcsolatban, végül az a döntés született, hogy mindkét összecsapás Vácon kerül majd megrendezésre.
Az első mérkőzésre december 3.-án szombaton 14:00-tól, míg a visszavágóra pontosan egy nappal később, december 4.-én vasárnap 14:00-kor kerül majd sor Vácon, a Sport TV élő közvetítése mellett!
